A new kind of shoe sanitiser developed by a Toronto company may help protect your feet from the sun and help keep you cool.
The shoe sanizer is made of polyethylene, which is a tough material that’s used to make rubber, paper and other products.
It is designed to protect your foot from sun damage and UV rays.
The material also comes in two versions: a UV-absorbing version that works on a sunblock, and a non-UV-absorber version that’s meant to be worn by people who aren’t at home.
It’s also meant to help keep your feet dry and prevent hypothermia.
“The non-invisible UV-shielding is not visible to the eye, so people are not exposed to it and therefore can wear it without fear,” said Rob MacLeod, a partner in the company that created the product, Lush.
“You can use it to keep your toes moisturized.”
Lush says its UV-blocking product is safe to wear by people of all ages.
“We believe that our shoe sanite is the most effective way to prevent hypovolemia and to maintain good health,” MacLeod said in a statement.
“Our shoes have been proven to protect from UV rays for many years, so we are delighted to be working with the Ontario Public Health Laboratory (OPHL) to make our shoes even safer for people of every age.”
MacLeod added that the UV-blocker in the Lush UV-protecting shoe will last for a year, and will be available in spring 2019.
He said it won’t break down and it won´t leave a residue.
The new product is designed for people who don’t want to wear sunscreen on their feet, and don’t wear shoes that are designed to be used indoors.
The product, which costs $19.99 for a 12-pack, can be ordered online at lush.ca or from Lush stores.
